Alpha Dictionary Letter Q!

Hi everyone! How are you? Today i'm sharing my second journal page for the Alpha Dictionary challenge over at The Craft Barn. Every fortnight, the craft barn gives us a letter and we're free to choose whatever that letter stands for. The only thing we have to do is add the dictionary definition. This fortnight's letter was Q. As soon as my mum told me, I knew exactly what word i was going to pick! QUOTES! I love quotes! So i was so excited to get started! I chose a quote card from my stash that I really liked and trimmed it down a bit. I started by mixing pink&purple paint with a brayer and added bits of stencilling. I doodled around the edges, stuck the quote card in the middle. I then stamped out the letters to spell out quotes onto a piece of plain paper and cut them out separately. I stuck them onto the page and wrote the dictionary definition. I enjoyed doing this page SO much!

Thanks for visiting my blog, i'll see you soon!

  4. Hi Rebecca,
I have just found your blog via The Craft Barn Dictionary Challenge, where your entry in the line up of entries caught my eye. Your entry is gorgeous, I love the way you have created the pretty background, and the way you have created such a brilliant border. The Winnie The Pooh that quote you have chosen to use is delightful too. You are certainly a talented young lady, and there's no way anyone would think you are just thirteen, when they look at the wonderful things you create.
Warmest best wishes from across the miles here in France.

  5. Hi Rebecca,
I love the beautiful background you have created, such pretty colours and clever layering. The Winnie The Pooh quote you have used is delightful and I love the border you have doodled, it makes the whole thing 'pop' out from the page.
