It's Halloween time at Sparkles!

                         

                 

Hi everyone I hope you're all OK!

 Today there is a new challenge at Sparkles and it is Halloween! 

If you don't like Halloween you could just use the colours!

I absolutely love Halloween so this challenge was SO much fun to

 make! I used a spooky image called "Boo the creepy clown" that 

my brother James drew. I added some spooky spiders and i inked

a bandage with some brown and black ink to make it look

 grungy and dirty then used it instead of ribbon. I doodled around

 the edges and used a spider web border die and a BOO die.

A new challenge at Sparkles!

                                       

 Hi  everybody, I hope you're all ok! Today there's a new challenge at

Sparkles and I got to choose the theme!

 I chose Fairies and/or butterflies and if you want to join in you can make

anything you like! This month our sponsor is Lili of the Valley and the

winner will get a £10 voucher to spend in their shop! I used a sweet

stamp from Sugar Nellie, she's one of my favourites and I coloured

her with Copics and Flexmarkers.

A birthday card for James!

                                   

Hi everyone i hope your all OK! I'm so sorry i haven't been

blogging but I've been really busy with preparing for my first 

day of school and getting new uniform and stuff like that.

Anyway it was my brother James' birthday a while ago and i

 made him a card with this cute little green monster from Pollycraft. 

First i layered some spotty paper on green card, then i coloured

 the image & cut a green scallop circle for him to sit on. 

Since it was his 21st birthday i put the numbers 21 on a die

cut green star, then cut some more green stars with a layer of 

paper on it. Finally i wrote happy birthday on white paper

then layered it onto pieces of green card and stuck them

 on! I really enjoyed making it so i hope you like it!

A new challenge at Sparkles!

Hi everyone i hope you are all OK!

This months challenge at Sparkles is up, up and away which means

we want to see anything to do with balloons! I decided to do a

 card using Serif that I can print out. You can do anything you want

 but it has to be to do with that theme! The prize is a $10 gift

 voucher sponsored by Crafty Ribbons !

     I really enjoyed making it and i DEFINITELY want to make 

more in the future!

I've only got 2 weeks left of the summer holidays and then im 

starting secondary school in September, im really nervous but

 also really excited!

Megan's birthday card!

Hi everyone are you all OK?  Today is my best friend Megan's

 birthday so i made her this card using some of her favourite 

colours! I also gave her a big bag of Haribos as a birthday present!

I really hope both you and Megan like it! I really enjoyed 

making this card! I used one of my favourite images from 

Sugar Nellie and shes a manga girl. I coloured her in using

 flex/promarkers and stuck her onto black card. Then i chose 

some papers and stuck them on some black card. Last i cut out

 some little pieces of black card and stuck gems onto them so it 

looks like they are holding the whole thing down! And thats how

 i made it!

A new challenge at Sparkles!

Hello everyone, there's a new challenge starting at 

Sparkles today and the theme is to make something

Steampunk or Vintage. Crafty Ribbons is the sponsor

and here is what you can win:

I made a tag to go with a card my Mum made. I've

never made anything Steampunk before but this

was really easy. I cut out a black tag shape, then

added a piece of paper and some shapes then used

a small piece of ribbon and that's it! I can't wait to see 

all the things you make, it can be any craft thing

you like as long as it's Steampunk or Vintage.
