which is only 5 days before Christmas!! I cant wait!

Today there is a brand new challenge over at Sparkles

and the theme is Anything but a card. As always you can make

anything that you want (apart from a card for this challenge)

but it MUST fit the theme! The Sponsor for this challenge is

Di's Digis and the prize is $10 to spend in store. For

this Challenge i created a name card for the Christmas

dinner table. The first one that i made is for my brother

Nic and I am going to make 1 for each of us for Christmas

dinner!

A new challenge at Sparkles... Animals!

Hey everybody you OK ? I hope it's not to cold where you are 

because it's been bitterly cold here! Today there is a new

challenge over at Sparkles and this month it is...

Animals! As always you can make anything you like as long 

as it fits the theme. The sponsor is Crafty Ribbons 

with a £10 gift voucher.

For this theme i decided to do a cute little bear

that has just been on  shopping spree and is trying

on lots of different hats and shoes! I used

a paper pack that i really like and put some pretty 

flowers and butterflies on to make it look cute.

Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone i hope you are all OK! Today is my favorite holiday

 HALLOWEEN!

I am on a half term break from school so i am doing some spooky

 things like carving pumpkins and baking Halloween buns and

 cakes and later on im going trick or treating! I love making spooky

 things so i decided to do a Halloween display in the corner of our

 dining room/craft room! I used some spiders web around the edge

 and if you look really close you can see tiny spiders running across

 it! Then i put a spooky haunted house on a stand and filled a

 goblet with sweets and put it next to the house. We found a

Frankenstein light and my mum even decorated a candle! The 

creepy skull is put on a tub to stand higher than everything else

 with 2 paper pumpkins at either side. Then we covered a box to

 look like a mummy with 2 wiggly eyes and filled it with orange

 and black shredded paper. My brother so kindly stood for ages

 cutting up a black bag and put it above it all to look like 

streamers then lastly we put some more black and orange shredded

 paper in the empty bits. I loved making this..... it was

 soo much fun!

It's Halloween time at Sparkles!

                         

                 

Hi everyone I hope you're all OK!

 Today there is a new challenge at Sparkles and it is Halloween! 

If you don't like Halloween you could just use the colours!

I absolutely love Halloween so this challenge was SO much fun to

 make! I used a spooky image called "Boo the creepy clown" that 

my brother James drew. I added some spooky spiders and i inked

a bandage with some brown and black ink to make it look

 grungy and dirty then used it instead of ribbon. I doodled around

 the edges and used a spider web border die and a BOO die.

 Hi  everybody, I hope you're all ok! Today there's a new challenge at

A birthday card for James!

                                   

Hi everyone i hope your all OK! I'm so sorry i haven't been

blogging but I've been really busy with preparing for my first 

day of school and getting new uniform and stuff like that.

Anyway it was my brother James' birthday a while ago and i

 made him a card with this cute little green monster from Pollycraft. 

First i layered some spotty paper on green card, then i coloured

 the image & cut a green scallop circle for him to sit on. 

Since it was his 21st birthday i put the numbers 21 on a die

cut green star, then cut some more green stars with a layer of 

paper on it. Finally i wrote happy birthday on white paper

then layered it onto pieces of green card and stuck them

 on! I really enjoyed making it so i hope you like it!

Hi everyone i hope you are all OK!

This months challenge at Sparkles is up, up and away which means

we want to see anything to do with balloons! I decided to do a

 card using Serif that I can print out. You can do anything you want

 but it has to be to do with that theme! The prize is a $10 gift

     I really enjoyed making it and i DEFINITELY want to make 

more in the future!

I've only got 2 weeks left of the summer holidays and then im 

starting secondary school in September, im really nervous but

Megan's birthday card!

Hi everyone are you all OK?  Today is my best friend Megan's

 birthday so i made her this card using some of her favourite 

colours! I also gave her a big bag of Haribos as a birthday present!

I really hope both you and Megan like it! I really enjoyed 

making this card! I used one of my favourite images from 

Sugar Nellie and shes a manga girl. I coloured her in using

 flex/promarkers and stuck her onto black card. Then i chose 

some papers and stuck them on some black card. Last i cut out

 some little pieces of black card and stuck gems onto them so it 

looks like they are holding the whole thing down! And thats how

 i made it!

A new challenge at Sparkles!

Hello everyone, there's a new challenge starting at 

Sparkles today and the theme is to make something

Steampunk or Vintage. Crafty Ribbons is the sponsor

and here is what you can win:

I made a tag to go with a card my Mum made. I've

never made anything Steampunk before but this

was really easy. I cut out a black tag shape, then

added a piece of paper and some shapes then used

a small piece of ribbon and that's it! I can't wait to see 

all the things you make, it can be any craft thing

you like as long as it's Steampunk or Vintage.

Hello everyone, I hope you're OK! I'm real sorry for being such a 

bad blogger, I've just been sooooo busy with school! My SATS

are all over and done with now so I hope I  have done well! 

I had a lovely Birthday and got some lovely cards through the

 post so I want to say a big THANK YOU to Julie, Rachel and Liz. 

I have done a collage of photos of the cards and there's

a pic of my yummy cake too! 

I made a card this week as well, I used one of my favourite

Anya images and some lovely bright summery coloured

paper and ribbon. I coloured her with Spectrum Noir pens and

tried to make it look like she's outside on the beach! I used 2 

different sizes of punch for the flowers.

I've been reading a lot this week, I'm reading the Mallory Towers

books by Enid Blyton. My Mum used to read these books when she

was my age too! Do you read?  I got a new blog background

 too. Hope you like it!

A new challenge at Sparkles!

 Hello everyone, I have scheduled this to post on time as I'm

busy at school this week so I hope it works! There is a new

challenge at Sparkles today and the theme is

Monochrome. I love this theme cos I can use all different

shade of black and grey. My Mum and me coloured some

images the other day and I used this one to make a

 bookmark. I tried real hard with the shading on

this one and I really like it but I think I need to practice a

bit more! I used a scrap of paper and a die cut doily, some

punched flowers and some pearls and some peel offs 

for the words. If you want to join us at Sparkles you can make

anything you like and you have a month to join in. We are

Hi everyone are you all ok?

If this image was me i'd be listening to Avril Lavigne's song 

"Complicated"! What would you be listening to?

I have had a nice relaxed weekend crafting because 

I have my SATS exams this week......I'm so nervous but I have 

done lots of revision so keep your fingers crossed for me!

At least there's something to look forward to because it's

my birthday on Thursday and i'm going to be 11. I can't wait!

I made this card with one of my favourite images called Chelsea and

 i tried to do some shading on the hair, using different 

yellows to make it just right. Well, i'm off to watch "The Voice"

finally the "auditions" are over and it's now the "battles"

i wonder who will win?

Hi everyone are you all ok? We're back to school today at last

and there is a new challenge at Sparkles and the theme is

hearts! I love hearts so I made another heart for my picture frame.

I made a pink one this time as it's one of my fav colours.

I used heart dies for the shape and I coloured a Gorjuss girl with

Mum's promarkers then I tried fussy cutting the image and it

was soooooo hard! I made some heart bunting and wrote out

the words myself. Then I added a few gems and that's it!

Son of Medusa!

Hi everyone and hi to my new follower,Laura i'll be coming

to visit you as soon as I've written this post,

 I hope you all have had a really nice week! You know i love 

Monster High? There's a film, books, dolls even clothes and quilt covers

all Monster High but the film, books and dolls are my favourite.

 Deuce Gorgon is one of the male characters

and i recently got the doll version of him .I've  watched the 

film a lot these holidays so i thought it would be 

awesome to do another wall hanging for my bedroom!  

Deuce Gorgon  is son of Medusa and has snakes for hair! He can 

turn people into stone but he wears glasses because he doesn't 

want to turn his friends to stone by accident!I really enjoyed 

making this 'cos i stamped ALOT!I also really enjoyed

 colouring him with all the different colours!

Toralei Stripe

Hi everyone, have you all had a nice Easter?

We had lots of chocolate mmm yummy! I created another 

one of my Monster High scrapbook pages but this is one

about Toralei which is daughter of the werecat and has a pet 

called Sweet Fangs! Because she is daughter of the werecat

i get to use all of my fav cheetah print card and ribbon!

 This was also the first time i have inked edges and i love doing

 this now i just never want to stop! I added some little metal 

embellishment that have foot prints on that looks like claws!

My Easter display!

Hi everyone, are you all having a nice weekend? I am cos

today we made a Easter display using some bits and bobs out 

of mums stash. There are loads of different things on here

all to do with Easter including: a picture coloured

 by me, some multi coloured shredded paper in a Easter

 basket, a little bunny ornament  and lots more! We

 also made some bunting with 3dstickers on the front! In the 

basket in the middle is different coloured eggs with some more

 shredded paper.  The final touch was adding some little 

chicks on! I'd love some chicks as pets cos they're soo cute!

 I had really good fun making all these different things and you 

would too!

Cam's birthday card

Hi everyone I hope you are all OK! Also hello to my new

 followers and thank you for following me! Yesterday was my

 brothers birthday so I made him a card! He loves listening to Jon

 Bon Jovi and his favorite song is Bang a drum and he also really 

likes cowboys and western things and stuff like that so i thought 

this would be perfect for him! I'm gonna see if i can 

find some challenges for this card!

My card is for a little girl I know in blogland who is having a

Birthday in a few days so I hope she doesn't see it, but I think her

Mum (Rachel) might because she always visits my blog and leaves

 me lovely comments. I tried real hard to get the hair right on this

 card and I used 3 colours. I like it but know it could be lots better
