B is for Bex, Brothers and Birthday cake!

Hi everybody, I hope you are all ok and thank you for all your birthday
wishes! I cant believe i'm 10 already. I had a fab day yesterday and my best friend came
round for tea. I got really spoilt with some great presents and my brother made
me a Monster High cake mmmmmm it was delicious!!
Today I would like to share some decopatch. I got the letter B
for Bex because that's what everybody calls me!
To decopatch you have to buy some
decopatch paper then you tear it into bits.
I spread some glue on the B and put the paper on. When I
had finished I spread some glue on top to make it
all shiny. I tied some bits of ribbon and added a princess charm.
It's going to look real good in my bedroom.
Thanks for visiting my blog see you at the weekend.
Lots of love Rebecca xx

Hi everybody I hope you are all having a nice week.
At school I am studying World War 2 and this week we have been learning about
the children who were evacuated to the country side. Three of us in my class got chosen
to enter a poem competition. I tried to imagine what it would feel like being an evacuee. Here is
 my poem:

When I was evacuated

I was just a little girl in a strange new place.
Everywhere I looked I saw a strange new face
Where am I? Who are they? What can I see?
I saw they were scared Just like me.

No bombs, no sirens, just beautiful birdsong,
I wondered if I'd be there long?
I heard cows, I heard sheep, a buzzing bee,
I wondered if they were scared,  just like me.

I felt so scared, I felt so glum,
I really really really, missed my mum.
I wanted to go home yet wanted to stay here,
During the war in the country, I felt less fear.

Thanks for reading my poem see you tomorrow

Fairy wishes

Hi everybody sorry for being a bad blogger but i've been so busy
with school work and rearranging my bedroom.
Yesterday me and my mum were crafting and I made this card out of
mums unused stash! I followed this sketch from The Sugar Bowl

My mum helped me to stamp this image, she's called
Charlotte from Sugar Nellie and this is the first time we've ever used her!
.I used my favourite colours of purple
and green and I coloured it with flex/promarkers. It's
the first time I tried to make it look like light was
shining on her hair and I really like how it turned out!

Ingredients
Charlotte stamp from Sugar Nellie
Purple Card
Gems
Flex/Promarkers
Sentiment I wrote myself

Happy Earth Day!

Hello everyone, i hope you are all OK.
Every year on April 22nd people all over the world celebrate Earth Day.
Earth Day is all about doing as much as possible to protect the environment.
I have made an ATC to celebrate Earth Day and last year when I was doing some
school work about Earth Day I found this poem and I would like to share it with you.

I am the Earth, and the Earth is me.
Each blade of grass, each honey tree,
Each bit of mud and stick and stone
is blood and muscle, skin and bone.
And just as I need every bit
of me to make my body fit,
so Earth needs grass and stone and tree
and things that grow here, naturally.
That's why we celebrate this day,
that's why across the world we say:
As long as life is dear, is free,
I am the Earth and the Earth is me.

Thank you for reading my blog today, i will be visiting you all later!

Sparkles Challenges DT card - For Men Only!

Hello everybody! I hope you have had a lovely Easter holiday!
I go back to school tomorrow and i can't wait!
Today i am sharing the card i made for Sparkles challenges for the new challenge that starts
today. You have to make something for MEN ONLY! And i have 5 brothers!!!
The winner will get a really good prize of £10 from our sponsor
You can make anything as long as it's for a man and you can join for a month!
I made a card and cut it smaller than the boy so it looked like he was leaning against the wall. I embossed the card with a brick folder and went round the outline of the bricks with a grey promarker to make it look more like a real wall. Everything i used is from my and my Mum's stash!
Thank you for coming to my blog and i hope you enjoy the Sparkles challenge.

Something for my friend

Hi everybody, Happy April Fools Day!
Today i am sharing something i made for my friend, Sophia. She has just had her bedroom decorated
in blue and pink so i wanted to make her something for it. I made a little hanging picture that could go on her wall or her drawer handles. It was quite easy to do. I think she will really like it. I hope she will.
I used Miss Anya stamp from the Greetings Farm on a plain white circle, pro/flexmarkers, a blue scallop circle, flower punch, butterfly punch, pearls and gems and some pink lace and some blue letters to spell out her name.
Everything i used for this came from our stash and this is the first time the stamp has been used as well!
Thank you for coming to my blog today.
